Sophia Koinis


Sophia believes that every person is the expert of their own life and the role of a therapist is to support clients to reconnect with their inherent wisdom and compassion.  She brings a social justice approach to counseling, centering how social systems, identity, and power shape well-being.

Sophia holds a caring, supportive envirornment that allows for both pain and distress as well as joy and play.  She is a clinical intern completing her MA in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology at Naropa University.
