Alexandria Mezyad

Clinical Director, MA

A 2017 Naropa University graduate, Alexandria Mezyad obtained her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Mindfulness and Transpersonal psychology. For the last two years, she has been working with forensic populations, providing both group and individual therapy, and she also has experience working with underprivileged youth. Her non-judgemental and welcoming style of therapy encourages people to embrace their shadow side in order to integrate and accept all aspects of their personality. She welcomes creativity and has many interests that she incorporates into her therapy such as, Jungian psychology, dreamwork, psychodrama, and Joseph Campbell’s “Hero’s Journey”. She has a direct yet nurturing approach and enjoys challenging clients to strive for their best potential. Alexandria’s love for travel and embracing culture has made her passionate about social and cultural issues, which she implements into her therapy. Her holistic approach creates a safe place to share difficult emotions and embrace the pain and challenges of life.
